Abstract

In 2012 PT. Surya Mustika Andalas stands with a corporate structure consisting of several divisions with each task having its own responsibilities and obligations, one of which is the marketing division. The marketing division is one of the spearheads of the company, because all cigarette distribution
activities to consumers are the main task of the marketing division. Where the marketing division has duties and obligations as Trade Promotion and Consumer Promotion, this is the distribution of cigarettes directly to consumers with various activities. In the company PT. Surya Mustika Andalas,
there is only a marketing division and a Public Relations division at PT. Surya Mustika Andalas is still a method of communication because almost all of the activities of the Marketing division include activities carried out by Public Relations. Where the activities of Marketing are also directly related to
the wider community.
