Abstract

The information system in every company must be built according to the business needs and business activities carried out by each company. Given the importance of implementing an accounting information system in a company, each company is required to implement an Accounting Information System that is appropriate to the conditions of each company. One system used by companies is the Cash Receipt Accounting System. This is because the Accounting Information System is an organization of forms, records, and reports that are coordinated in such a way to provide the information needed by management. In processing cash receipts and disbursements data at Kost Pelangi, Microsoft Excel software has been used, however, there are still often obstacles in inputting cash receipts and disbursements data such as duplicate data and data manipulation when the computer is used by other staff due to the ease of accessing the Excel application, so it is feared that the treasurer's performance will not run optimally. The system is built using the PHP programming language with an SQL database so that it can simplify data retrieval and minimize errors in recording.
