Sistem Informasi Pendaftaran Siswa Baru Di SMK Swasta Siloam-2 Medan

Abstract

A common problem encountered at SMK SWASTA SILOAM-2 MEDAN during new student registration is the lack of complete documents/requirements during the manual registration process. Therefore, it is necessary to design a new student registration information system. In addition, this system will greatly simplify registration for prospective students and parents wherever they are. Seeing the existing problems at SMK SWASTA SILOAM-2 Medan, the author uses a research method consisting of data collection, interviews, and literature studies. The author utilizes analytical tools in the form of document flow diagrams (flow maps), context diagrams, data flow diagrams, and database design. The software used is PHP, while the database is created using MySQL. By creating this application for designing a new student registration information system at SMK SWASTA SILOAM-2 Medan, it is expected that this application can assist officers in data processing and facilitate data retrieval. It is expected that all registration activities at SMK SWASTA Siloam-2 Medan can be properly monitored and errors that occurred in the previous system can be eliminated. This application is also expected to improve the quality and performance of employees at SMK Swasta Siloam-2 Medan.
