Regarding student attendance, many students are absent without explanation. Attendance recording at Al Qohar Private Islamic Junior High School (MTs) still uses a manual method, where the class secretary or homeroom teacher calls each student individually and records their attendance in a notebook or provided sheet. This often leads to errors and inaccuracies. Methods used include observation, interviews, and literature reviews to collect the data needed to compile reports. Therefore, a student attendance information system is needed that can assist the school in recording student attendance more quickly, efficiently, and effectively
