Pharmacies play an important role as providers of medicines and health services to the community. The design of the drug sales and purchase information system at Hasan Farma Ujung Tanjung Pharmacy aims to improve the quality of pharmacy sales and purchases, reduce recording errors, speed up service to customers, and provide accurate reports for decision-making. This drug sales and purchase information system is designed using the PHP (hypertext preprocessor) programming language with MySQL as a database to store drug data, transactions, and stocks. This process involves several key steps in the design and implementation of information systems. First, compile an efficient database structure to store transaction data in an organized manner. Views for reports that make it easier for users to access and analyze data. Then, a template is created for the report that ensures consistency and ease of presentation of information. The final stage includes testing and validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the Generated. Through these steps, sales and purchase reports can be generated quickly, accurately, and easily understood. The results of the information system show a significant improvement in operational efficiency, such as the availability of notifications of expired drugs, expired drugs and an increase in the accuracy of drug stocks. Overall, the design of this information system not only provides short-term benefits, but also supports the growth and competitiveness of Hasan Farma Pharmacy in the pharmaceutical industry.
