Abstract

The development of information technology not only supports the learning process but also simplifies school administration. School inventory is an important component in supporting teaching and learning activities and administration. This study aims to design and build a website-based Goods Inventory Information System at SMP Negeri I Ulu Idanotae to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of school inventory management. The developed system is expected to assist the process of recording incoming and outgoing goods, managing inventory data, searching for goods information, and preparing inventory reports quickly, accurately, and in an integrated manner. At SMP Negeri I Ulu Idanotae, inventory management is still carried out manually, which often causes problems, such as inaccurate inventory data, delays in preparing reports, and difficulties in searching for information. To overcome these problems, this study designs and builds a website-based inventory information system that can help schools manage data more effectively and efficiently. This system has key features including recording incoming and outgoing goods, managing inventory data, and generating reports automatically. The technology used is the PHP programming language with a MySQL database, so the system can be accessed through a browser without requiring special installation on a computer.
