Perancangan Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Pendapatan Dan Pengeluaran Kas Pada Sweety Laundry Berbasis Web

Abstract

Sweety Laundry, a laundry service business in Medan, still uses a manual financial recording system, which causes various obstacles such as calculation errors, delays in report preparation, and the risk of data loss. This study aims to design a cash income and expenditure information system for Sweety Laundry. Based on these problems, this study is designed to answer three research questions: how the cash income and expenditure accounting information system works at Sweety Laundry, what obstacles are faced in the manual system, and how to design a web-based system that can record financial transactions effectively and efficiently. This study uses observation, interviews, and literature studies to collect accurate data regarding business processes and user needs. The system, designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database with a web-based interface, aims to simplify the recording process, accelerate report preparation, and improve accuracy and transparency in small business financial management. The results of the study indicate that the web-based accounting information system is able to overcome the obstacles of the manual system by producing financial reports automatically, efficiently, and in real-time. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of a web-based system can improve work efficiency, data accuracy, and the quality of decision-making at Sweety Laundry. As for the suggestions from this research, the system needs to be further developed by adding data security features, automatic backups, and report graphic integration so that users can monitor financial conditions interactively and continuously.
