PERSEPSI DAN KESIAPAN DIRI MAHASISWA FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN TERHADAP IMPLEMENTASI INTERPROFESSIONAL EDUCATION DI UNIVERSITAS SAM RATULANGI MANADO
Abstrak
Kebutuhan akan sistem pembelajaran interprofessional education berawal dari semakin kompleksnya penanganan dan kebutuhan pasien dalam pelayanan kesehatan dan pelayanan sosial, sehingga memerlukan koordinasi dan kolaborasi pelayanan kesehatan yang efektif. Perguruan tinggi penyelenggara pendidikan kesehatan didorong untuk mengimplementasikan interprofessional education dengan melakukan pengkajian kesiapan dan persepsi mahasiswa terkait interprofessional education. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi persepsi dan kesiapan diri mahasiswa program sarjana di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sam Ratulangi Manado terkait dengan implementasi interprofessional education. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang didistribusikan menggunakan format isian dalam jaringan. Analisis data univariat dilakukan dan hasil disajikan dalam tabel distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar responden memiliki persepsi yang baik tentang interprofessional education (97,9%). Gambaran yang relative sama ditemukan untuk kesiapan diri dimana 75,9% responden memiliki kesiapan diri yang baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari deskripsi persepsi dan kesiapan diri mahasiswa menunjukkan adanya peluang bagi institusi pendidikan untuk mengembangkan dan menerapkan system pembelajaran interprofesi khususnya dibidang kesehatan sebagai upaya meningkatkan komunikasi dan kolaborasi serta pelayanan kesehatan yang berkualitas.
