PENGARUH TERAPI SYUKUR DALAM MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN TERINFEKSI HIV
Abstrak
Latar Belakang: Kualitas hidup masih menjadi perhatian penting pada Orang dengan HIV/AIDS (ODHIV). Tantangan yang dialami berdampak besar pada kesejahteraan hidup mereka, termasuk aspek psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas terapi syukur (gratitude) terhadap kualitas hidup ODHIV. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan pre-eksperimen dengan jumlah subyek sebanyak 30 ODHIV di RSPI Prof. Dr. Sulianti Saroso. Metode pemilihan sample yaitu purposive sampling dengan kriteria inklusi ODHIV dewasa (usia >18 tahun) dan aktif berkunjung ke RSPI Prof. Dr. Sulianti Saroso untuk pengambilan obat antiretroviral (ARV) setiap bulannya, sedangkan kriteria eksklusi adalah ibu hamil. Subyek akan menjalani terapi syukur selama enam minggu. Terapi syukur diukur dengan instrumen inventori gratitude dan kualitas hidup dengan instrumen WHOQOL-HIV BREF. Perubahan rata-rata nilai kualitas hidup yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah terapi syukur dengan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil: Mayoritas subyek adalah laki-laki (70%) dengan median (IQR) usia 39,6 (26-52) tahun. Setelah subyek mendapatkan terapi syukur, ada peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kualitas hidup, dengan perbedaan rata-rata 4,00 (95% CI: 3,00-5,65; SE 0,693; p-value <0,001) dan ukuran efek yang diukur dengan korelasi rank biserial adalah 1,00. Kesimpulan: Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terapi syukur memiliki dampak yang signifikan dan positif terhadap peningkatan kualitas hidup ODHIV. Rasa syukur menjadi kebutuhan dalam menumbuhkan pandangan hidup yang positif. Terapi syukur bisa menjadi bentuk layanan standar di rumah sakit. Penelitian berikutnya dengan studi kualitatif untuk mengetahui besar pengaruhnya terhadap kejiwaan ODHIV.
