Faktor-Faktor Penyebab Keterlambatan Waktu Pengembalian Berkas Rekam Medis Rawat Inap Dirumah Sakit Islam Malahayati Medan

Abstract

The return of medical records is an important system in the Medical Record Unit because it is the beginning of activities before the start of processing patient medical records. The punctuality of the return is accordance with the policy of the Malahayati Islamic Hospital, which is 2x24 hours after the patient is discharged. From observations in June2022, there are often delays in returning inpatient medical records. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors causing the delay in returning inpatient medical record files. This type of research is descriptive research with interview data collection methods at Malahayati Islamic Hospital. Factors causing delays in returning medical record files include lack of information and clarity about the standard time for returning inpatient medical record files, there areofficers who forget to record medical record files borrowed from expedition books. Suggestions should be for the hospital to socialize SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) about returning inpatient medical.
