HUBUNGAN KESADARAN KOMUNIKASI SBAR PERAWAT DENGAN PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PELAYANAN KEPERAWATAN DI RSU BUNDA THAMRIN MEDAN
Abstrak
Perawat berperan penting terhadap peningkatan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan, khususnya keperawatan. Kualitas pelayanan keperawatan sebagai proses perawatan yang berkelanjutan dan berpusat pada pasien. Komunikasi perawat merupakan faktor vital dalam menentukan pelayanan keperawatan yang berkualitas tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan kesadaran komunikasi SBAR perawat dengan peningkatan kualitas pelayanan keperawatan di Rumah Sakit Umum Bunda Thamrin Medan. Penelitian ini bersifat deskripstif korelasional dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat di ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Umum Bunda Thamrin Medan berjumlah 225 perawat dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu total sampling yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi. Data dianalisis melalui uji chi square (x2). Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa ada hubungan yang bermakna antara kesadaran komunikasi SBAR dengan kualitas pelayanan keperawatan di RSU Bunda Thamrin Medan (p-value 0,013). Kesimpulannya adalah komunikasi SBAR perawat mendukung pelayanan keperawatan berkualitas. Maka, diharapkan pihak manajerial rumah sakit melakukan pendampingan komunikasi SBAR bagi perawat baru dan mengevaluasi penerapan komunikasi SBAR secara periodik serta memberikan reward terhadap kepatuhan penerapan komunikasi SBAR.
