Publication Schedule
Jurnal Ilmiah Perekam dan Informasi Kesehatan Imelda (JIPIKI) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal in the fields of medical records management, health information management, and health informatics, published twice a year according to the following schedule:

These two issues constitute one volume per year. JIPIKI is committed to maintaining a consistent and timely publication schedule as part of its responsibility to disseminate scientific research findings in health information management and related healthcare disciplines.
Manuscript Processing Time
All manuscripts must be submitted through the JIPIKI Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.
The manuscript processing and publication process requires a minimum of four (4) months, calculated from the initial submission date to the publication date.
During this period, submitted manuscripts undergo the following stages:
- Initial Editorial Screening: Administrative assessment, verification of manuscript compliance with the journal's template and author guidelines, and similarity screening.
- Peer Review and Revision: Scientific evaluation by qualified peer reviewers, followed by manuscript revisions based on reviewers' and editors' recommendations.
- Copyediting and Final Proofreading: Language editing, formatting adjustments, and final manuscript verification before publication.
- Publication: Final publication of accepted articles in the designated journal issue through the JIPIKI online publishing platform.
The processing time may exceed four months depending on the outcomes of the peer review process, the extent of revisions required, and the authors' responsiveness in submitting revised manuscripts.
Authors are therefore encouraged to plan their submissions carefully and consider the minimum processing time when selecting their intended publication issue.
Recommended Manuscript Submission Deadlines
Based on the minimum manuscript processing period of four months, authors are advised to submit their manuscripts no later than the recommended deadlines to be considered for their intended publication issue.
Manuscripts submitted after the recommended deadlines, or manuscripts requiring additional review or revision beyond the scheduled publication period, will be considered for inclusion in a subsequent issue.
Submission before the recommended deadline does not guarantee publication in a particular issue. Publication decisions remain subject to the completion of the editorial evaluation, peer review, revision, and final acceptance processes.
Changes to the Publication Schedule
JIPIKI reserves the right to adjust its publication schedule when necessary due to editorial, technical, or other relevant considerations.
Any changes to the publication schedule will be communicated through official announcements on the JIPIKI website.
